I LOVE YOU

We have been trying to get Kooper to say I LOVE YOU...Three simple words with so much meaning.  These three "simple" words apparently are not so simple for a 19 month old to say.  Today though, out of nowhere he looked at Jaden and said "EYE (pointing to his eye) wub ewe"...It is close enough for me.  Even though he said it to Jaden it is such precious words to hear!

Scripture Memorization

Jaden is now in the Preschool class at church...kind of sad but he had to be promoted.  He loves coming to church and I didn't want that to change so I have been watching him closely the last couple months to see how things are going.  Jaden has been able to tell us what they are learning in class.  The one thing they are doing is encouraging scripture memorization.  Jaden had his first verse memorized in a couple days.  The verse the class is supposed to memorize is Psalm 37:3 "Trust in the Lord and do good."  I know it seems like an easy verse for a 4 year old to memorize and it was BUT read the words again.  "Trust in the Lord and do good."  I am so thankful that at a young age he is learning to trust in the Lord NOW not later.  It is so easy to say that we are trusting God but are we really?  I am so proud of Jaden for wanting to learn and know what the words mean!

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
