Park/Doling Cave

We took Jaden to Doling Cave. He fed the ducks, played in the water and played on the slide. We had fun!

31 Weeks

Who would have thought that the last 6 months would go by so quickly? So much has happened. There have been good things and bad things but GOD IS GOOD! He has provided for us and taken care of us in ways I could never have imagined. I was sick for the first 4 months I was pregnant. I got food poisoning, strep throat, and have had a cold. Through everything God was taking care of Kooper & I. A verse was brought up the other day and it hit home for me. It is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." This verse reminded me again that there is a reason for everything we are NEVER alone in our walk. When we feel alone God is the one really carrying us, what an awesome experience.

At our doctors visit today Koopers little heart was beating 142 beats per minute. He was kicking and moving making sure Nancy (our nurse) and Dr. Powell knew he was there. I am still measuring at 33 weeks but there is nothing to be concerned about with that. Kooper is approximately the size of a soccer ball, weighing about 3 - 3 1/2 lbs.

I AM DUKE!

Jaden LOVES to watch John Wayne movies. Duke is his best friend. We found a toy shot gun and pistol for him at Wal-Mart and he plays with it ALL THE TIME! Who would have thought that a $10 toy would be so much more fun than a $50 toy???

Helping Mommy Clean

We have been trying to teach Jaden that there are many different ways to help. One way Jaden LOVES to help is by vacuuming the couches...he hasn't always liked the vacuum cleaner but for some reason he now LOVES to help vacuum! There are times I think he likes to play with the couch cushions more but that is ok. At least he is learning to help!
